Milk Samples
157 samples of milk were sent for bacteriological examination and of
these 18 were found not to conform with the requirements of the Regulations.
15 samples failed to pass the Methylene Blue Test, 2 samples failed
to pass the Phosphatase Test and 1 sample failed to pass the Turbidity
Test.
Ice Cream
During the year 44 samples of Ice Cream were sent to the Laboratories
for Bacteriological examination, and were reported upon as follows:

Pharmacy and Poisons
The names and addresses of 43 persons remained on the Council's
list of persons entitled to sell Poisons under Part II of the Pharmacy and
Poisons Act, 1933.
