Dirty Milk Bottles.
During the year five complaints were received regarding dirty milk bottles, three of which were
dealt with by warning letters to the firms concerned, and two by legal proceedings. The two latter
cases were dismissed under the Probation of Offenders Act and costs of £10 10s. Od. were awarded to
the Council.
Pharmacy and Poisons.
The names and addresses of 45 persons remained on the Council's list of persons entitled to sell
Poisons under Part II of the Pharmacy & Poisons Act 1933.

The following is a list of foods condemned during the year by the Sanitary Inspectors as being
unfit for human consumption:—
