The statement of inspections made and action taken required
by the Home Office is appended.
Outworkers.—Lists of Outworkers are prepared in February
and August from names submitted by the employers. At the
latter date there were 238 persons registered as doing outwork
in their homes in Stoke Newington, of which number only 28
worked for firms in Stoke Newington. These latter firms also
employed 102 other persons living and working in other boroughs.
