case to assist the family of the Ex-Service man when he has to give
up work and go into an Institution for treatment. Very adequate
help is always willingly given in deserving cases by this well organised
Fund.
"The cases referred to the different Departments of the Metropolitan
Hospital numbered 146. During the year 79 X-Ray
examinations were made for the purpose of diagnosis, and 5 skin and
gland cases have received X-Ray treatment with excellent
results.
"Thanks are due to the Medical Officers of Health, Doctors
Kenwood and Dart, and the members of the Medical and Surgical
Staffs of the Metropolitan Hospital for their kind co-operation with
the work of the Dispensary. The nurses supplied by Matron have
all performed their work conscientiously."
