Only eight of the samples purchased in the Borough in 1925
were adulterated; and, therefore, the percentage of non-genuine
samples amounted to 4 5 per cent., which is slightly above the figure
for the preceding year.
6 per cent. of the 66 Milk samples were unsatisfactory in
quality or sold contrary to the law, as against 5.7 per cent. during
the preceding year.
In London as a whole, the percentage of Milk samples reported
against was above that in Stoke Newington.
