The Infectious Sickness Rate for London generally was 7.0.
Of the 29 Sanitary Areas situated within the Metropolis, the
lowest rates were those of Kensington (4.5) and Hampstead (4.7),
and the highest rates were those of Bethnal Green (12.4) and
Stepney (II.I).
310 of the cases notified were removed from their homes to
Isolation Hospitals.
