The Infectious Sickness Rate for London generally was 6.7.
Of the 29 Sanitary Areas situated within the Metropolis, the lowest
rates were those of Westminster and Hampstead (4.4), Stoke
Newington (4.6), and Holborn (4.8), and the highest rates were
those of Deptford (10.1), Woolwich (9.2), and Bermondsey (9.1).
196 of the cases notified were removed from their homes to
Isolation Hospitals.
