The Infectious Sickness Rate for London generally was 5.2.
Of the 29 Sanitary Areas situated within the Metropolis, the lowest
rates were those of Westminster (3.3), the City (3.4), and Stoke
Newington (3.6); and the highest rates were those of Greenwich
(8.4), Woolwich (8.3), and Deptford (7.1).
148 of the cases notified were removed from their homes to
Isolation Hospitals.
