INFECTIOUS DISEASES AND THE MEASURES TAKEN
TO PREVENT THEIR SPREAD.
It will be seen from Table B that 224 Notification Certificates of
Infectious Illness were received from medical practitioners, as against
312 during the preceding year. These figures include notifications
received from the voluntary notification of Consumption, and they
represent a very considerable reduction in the prevalence of communicable
disease, as compared with the figures for 1908.
