INFANTILE MORTALITY.
There were 133 deaths registered of infants under one year of
age, as against 1,066 births; the proportion which the deaths under
1 year of age bear to 1,000 births is, therefore, 124.7, as against
115.6 in the preceding year.

Table: INFANTILE MORTALITY.The deaths under 1 year of age form 20.0 per cent, of the total deaths of all ages, whereas those for the preceding year formed 19.2 per cent.
