The Infectious Sickness Rate for London generally was 6.1 Of
the 29 Sanitary Areas situated within the Metropolis, the lowest
rates were those of Chelsea (3.2), and Kensington, Westminster, and
Hampstead (3.7), and the highest were Bethnal Green (11.6), Stepney
(9.4), and Poplar (9.3).
19.5 of the cases notified were removed from their homes to
Isolation Hospitals.
