The Infectious Sickness Rate for London generally was 9.9
and of the 29 Sanitary Areas situated within the Metropolis, the
lowest rates were those of Kensington (5.3), and Hampstead (5.7),
and the highest were Bethnal Green (13.4), and Stepney (13.1).
239 of the cases notified were removed from their homes to
Isolation Hospitals.
