TUBERCULOSIS - NEW CASES AND DEATHS 1972
New Cases and Deaths; Primary notifications of 123 pulmonary and 20 non-pulmonary
cases were received; 10 other cases came to light via death returns from Registrars.
Pulmonary tuberculosis (including late effects) accounted
for 16 deaths, there being 2 deaths from non-pulmonary tuberculosis.
Age distribution of new cases and deaths is as follows;-
