In the Inner Wards the average Diarrhoea death-rate per
10,000 inhabitants was 8.04 as compared with 3.6 for the
OuterWards, i.e., 2 to 1. The Inner Wards during 1900 have
pro rata suffered less from Diarrhœa than during last year.
Under the heading of Diarrhoea may be classed the
2 cases of cholera* notified, together with the 3 deaths
registered, in Lambeth during the year, as there is no
reason to regard any one case as "Asiatic Cholera"; and
also the 151 deaths registered from " Enteritis."
*15 cases of Cholera were notified in London.
