Food and Drugs Summonses issued, 64; Convictions, 60; Cautioned, 2. 4 Summonses were dismissed, I withdrawn,
and I unable to be served. A Summons was in addition taken out, and conviction obtained, against a person for refusing
to sell Butter to the Inspector, and one against a person for obstructing the Inspector in the discharge of his duty in
taking a Sample of Milk.
Although 66 Samples were certificated as adulterated by the Analyst, in two cases no action was taker.—one a 5 percent.
Water-adulterated Milk, and the other a Coffee, with a printed label drawing attention to the fact that the Coffee was
a mixture.
