In the Inner Wards the average diarrhoea death-rate per
10,000 inhabitants was 8 01, as compared with 4.2 for the
Outer Wards, i.e., almost 2 to 1.
Under the heading of diarrhœa may be classed the
5 cases of cholera notified in Lambeth during the year,
as there is no reason to regard any one case as 'Asiatic
Cholera"; and also the 104 deaths registered from
" Enteritis."
