FACTORIES AND WORKSHOPS
Factories
During 1913, ,2 new factories were added )to the
Register, consisting of (a) bedsteads, 1; (b) Laundry, 1.
The Inspection of Factories by the Sanitary Inspectors is
limited to that of the sanitary accommodation provided
for the workers (such accommodation to be separate,
sufficient, and suitable) and sanitary defects, when found,
are reported by the Factory Inspectors.
Workshops
During 1913, 57 new 'workshops were added to the
Register, consisting of the following:—
