Health in his Annual Report to the District Council to report specifically on the administration
of that Act in workshops and workplaces, and to send a copy of his Annual Report,
or so much of it as deals with this subject, to the Secretary of State (Home Office). If the
Annual Report is presented otherwise than in print, it is unnecessary to include in the copy
sent to the Home Office the portions which do not relate to factories workshops, workplaces
or homework. The duties of Local Authorities and the Medical Officer of Health under the
Acts are detailed in the Home Office Memoranda, issued to all Districts, Councils and
Medical Officers of Health.
