HOUSING AND SANITARY
CIRCUMSTANCES
OSBORNE GROVE CLEARANCE AREA
The official representation to the Council was made on 30th June,
1964. The area consisted of the following houses:-
1-17 (odd) and 2-14 (even) Osborne Grove
At the recommendation of the Housing Committee a Compulsory Purchase
Order was made on 25th November, 1964, on all the above houses except
Nos. 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10 & 17 which were already owned by the Council,
together with the sites of Nos. 16-18.
Only one objection was received but as this was later withdrawn no
public inquiry was required.
