SANITARY IMPROVEMENTS EFFECTED
IN DWELLINGS
As in last year's report, sanitary improvements have been
classified under main headings - work on the drainage system,
external fabric and the internal fabric of the house, and each of
these is divided into 'major' and 'minor' according to the extent of
the work involved. Each premises is counted once only irrespective
of the extent of the work involved.
