Mr. Marr was released from the Army to resume his civilian
duties 0n 1st November, as a result of an application made by
the Middlesex County Council to the War Office.
By the end of the year the comparative freedom from
regular air raids gave rise to the hope that Physical Education
could again be more extensively developed both for school
children and adults, and we look forward to a more progressive
year in 1941, supported by the Government's constant emphasis
on the importance of Physical and Recreative pursuits.
