Evening Classes.
Adult recreative classes were seriously affected by the fact
that the Middlesex County Council discontinued payment for
teachers and pianists. Notwithstanding this decision, and the
inconveniences of the black-out, two evening classes wore held
for women.
Mr. MaRR.
On the 18th October Mr. Marr was released from his duties
to join His Majesty's Army. He spent a short time at the Army
School of Physical Training at Aldershot and then went on to
train non-commissioned officers and men.
