byelaws relating to houses intended or used
for occupation by the working classes and let
in lodgings or occupied by members of more
than one family.
These Byelaws were confirmed on 13th May, 1030, and will
require amendment at a later date to comply with certain
standards laid down in the Housing Act, 1935. They do not
apply to any lodging-house in which the owner resides and not
more than one family is lodged. Parts of these byelaws, involving
structural alterations, do not apply to any lodging-house the
rent of which is for the time being controlled by the Rent and
Mortgage (Restrictions) Acts, 1920, 1923 and 1933.
