INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD.
The inspection of food and supervision of places where food
is prepared and sold was carried out by the Sanitary Inspectors
throughout the year. In spite of a warm, dry summer in 1934,
no outbreak of food poisoning occurred, and, indeed, the food
supply is now generally so wholesome and free from contamination.
and the methods of handling so good, that disease or
infection resulting from the ingestion of food is a rare occurrence.
