Note.—In regard to washing accommodation, Byelaw 15 (c),
the new baths and wash-houses erected by the Borough Council
in High Street, Hornsey, were opened on the 14th April, 1932.
These have proved by their use to have been a much-needed
institution in the Borough, so much so that it is contemplated
extending the premises by additional slipper baths and washhouse
accommodation at a cost estimated at £3,000.
OVERCROWDING.
During the year 23 fresh cases of overcrowding have been
found and 26 cases abated.
According to our records there were 57 known cases of
overcrowding existing in the Borough at the end of the year.
