REFUSE SHOOTS.
The refuse shoots in Coppetts Road, Muswell Hill, and in
Coolhurst Avenue have been kept under close observation during
the year. That in Coolhurst Avenue, which is being levelled to
form a playing field, has been a cause of trouble, owing to its
slow progress, but by an arrangement come to with the owners
the filling in has been expedited, and it is hoped that the work
will be completed before the end of the year. The superintending
of finishing off and levels, etc., has been undertaken by the
Borough Engineer's Department.
