Sanitary Inspector was filled by the promotion of Mr. Henry
Eastwood. Mr. A. E. Gooday was appointed a Sanitary Inspector
on December 30th to complete the staff.
The work of the department in all its branches has continued
smoothly during the year along the same lines as in former
years. The Report which follows gives as briefly as possible the
statistical information required in an " Ordinary Report." The
Minister of Health requests that every five years a more elaborate
report should be prepared surveying the progress made in the
quinquennium. Such a " Survey Report " is due next year.
