There have been no new houses built in the Borough during
the year, but 11 houses have bean converte 1 into Flats, and
one house has been converted into two houses.
Births.—The number cf Births recorded during 1919 was
males 590 and females 598, making a total of 1,188. This is an
increase of 151 as compared with the number of births registered
in 1918. In the preceding twelve months (1918 compared with
1917) there was a decrease of 1 in the recorded births.
