Cancer.—There were 130 deaths registered as due to Cancer
in 1918 as against 110 deaths from this cause in 1917, and 100 in
1911). This is an increase of '20 deaths on 1917, and of 24 deaths
from the number registered in 1916. The death-rate from Cancer
per thousand of the population is equal to 164, about one-eighth
of the total death-rate.
