The remaining zymotic diseases, as causes of death, call for
little remark.
Enteric Fever, which did not, in any of the few cases
occurring in the Borough in 1909, cause a single death, was the
cause of 3 deaths in 1910.
Scarlet Fever caused 4 deaths in 1910, one more than in
1909.
From Measles only one death was recorded in 1910. This
is the first year with such a low mortality from this cause.
Whooping. Cough caused 2 fewer deaths in 1910 than in
1909, 10 as against 12. The death-rate from this cause was 0.10
per 1,000 of the population.
From Puerperal Fever no deaths occurred in 1910, as compared
with 2 in 1909 and 3 in 1908.
