From Measles also the number of deaths, 12, was the same
in 1909 as in 1908, although the disease was much more prevalent
in 1909.
Whooping Cough saused one more death in 1909 than in
1908, 12 as against 11. The death.rate from this cause was 0.12
per 1,000 of the population.
From Puerperal Fever 2 deaths occurred, as compared with
3 in 1908 and 2 in 1907.
