Report of the Public Analyst appointed for the Parish of St. Mary,
Islington, upon the Articles Analysed by him under the above
Act during the Quarter ending the 30th September, 1888.
TO THE VESTRY OF ST. MARY, ISLINGTON.
Gentlemen,
During the Quarter ending September 30th, 1888, I have
had 161 samples of Food submitted to me for analysis by your
Inspectors. These were made up of 96 mixed samples, 64 samples
of Milk, and 1 sample of Van Houten's Cocoa. Of the above, 2 samples
of Cocoa and 13 samples of Milk were found adulterated, the details
of which you will find annexed herewith.
