Report of the Public Analyst appointed for the Parish of St. Mary
Islington, upon the Articles analysed by him under the above Act,
during the Quarter ending the 31 st December, 1884.
TO THE VESTRY OF ST. MARY ISLINGTON.
Gentlemen,
During the past quarter I have examined 28 samples of food and
drink.
The samples consisted of Pepper, Sugar, Oatmeal, Lard, Pickles, Milk,
Flour, Tea, Confectionery, Butter, Coffee, Chicory, Bread, Lime Juice,
Cheese, Arrowroot, Cocoa, and sundry samples of Ale and Spirits.
These samples were submitted to me for analysis by your Inspectors.
T found none of the samples adulterated.
