Islington, upon the Articles analysed by him under the above Act,
during the Quarter ending the 29tli March, 1884.
TO THE VESTRY OF ST. MARY ISLINGTON.
Gentlemen,
During the past Quarter I have examined 30 samples of Food and
Drink, 29 of which were submitted to me by your Inspectors and one by the
Public, to wit, the Guardians of the Parish.
In the 29 samples I found no adulteration.
In the one case (a sample of Milk) submitted to me by the Guardians.
I certified adulteration to the extent of 37 per cent, of added water. It was
one of the worst samples of adulterated Milk that has come before me.
Your faithful Servant,
C. MEYMOTT TIDY,
Public Analyst.
