APPENDIX II.
"THE SALE OF FOOD AND DRUGS ACT, 1875."

Islington, upon the articles analysed by him under the above Act
during the quarter ending the 30 th June, 1882.
TO THE VESTRY OF ST. MARY, ISLINGTON.
Gentlemen,
Your Inspectors have submitted to me during the past
quarter 28 samples of Milk for analysis.
In the case of 16 samples of variable quality there was no such
evidence of adulteration as to justify me in advising any prosecution.
I gave certificates of adulteration, however, in the 12 remaining
cases, and the vendors were fined in amounts varying from 20s. to
£10.
I have the honour to remain,
Your obedient Servant,
C. MEYMOTT TIDY.
