for. Still, it is not to be expected that the decline will continue
steadily without fluctuations. The atmospheric temperature is the
principal factor, and the cold weather experienced lately is not
unlikely at the expiration of the fortnight of incubation, to raise the
number of fresh cases temporarily.
Up to the present date we have a list of 1,023 houses infected. Of
these the houses and their contents have been disinfected in 853
instances, leaving 170 yet to be dealt with.
