Sanitary Committee will doubtless deal with this case under a penal
section (39th) of the Sanitary Act. In another case a clergyman and
his family were permitted by a lodging house keeper to remain without
warning in a house where one of the inmates was ill, and subsequently
died of scarlet fever. Two of this gentleman's children took the disease
and died. The Sanitary Act will not touch this case.
