The highest day temperature, observed on May 26th, was 69.5°
The lowest night temperature, observed on May 5th, was 38.0°.
There were two large falls of rain, viz., 0.90 inch, in the night of
May 3rd, and all day on the 4th; and again 08.3 inch on the
night of May 27th, and all day on 28th.
Thunderstorms with hail on 19th, at 1 p.m.
Unusual gloom, with yellow fog, in forenoon of 22nd, a heavy cloud
appearing to hang over London all day.
