REPORT
ON THE
SANITARY CONDITION OF ST. MARY, ISLINGTON,
FOR OCTOBER, 1867.
No. CXXVI.
A comparatively low mortality has again characterised the last four
weeks, the number of deaths registered being 260, while 297 would
have been registered had the ordinary death-rate of October prevailed.
Thirteen deaths were registered from Scarlatina.
Referring to the Sickness Table, we find that cases of small-pox and
scarlatina have been more abundant than during September,, otherwise,
there is no cause for dissatisfaction with the state of the public health.
EDWARD BALLARD, M.D.,
Medical Officer of Health.
Vestry Offices,
November 4th, 1867.
