[Report of the Medical Officer of Health for Islington, Parish of St Mary]

It is on this ground that I feel bound to urge the multiplication in the
Parish of places where the poor may obtain medicines in the event of a
sudden attack of diarrhœa. They should be able to obtain it immediately.
In former epidemics, every chemist's shop in the Parish was a
dispensary for this purpose. Some similar arrangement might be made
now. Some of the clergy and non-conformist congregations have kindly
offered me the use of rooms for the same purpose, in different parts of
the Parish.
