REPORT
ON THE
SANITARY CONDITION OF ST. MARY, ISLINGTON,
FOR FEBRUARY, 1863.
No. LXXI.
The mortality has again fallen to the precise corrected average of
six years. The deaths registered in February amounted to 26G.
The deaths in each of the classes of causes, viz., Zymotic diseases,
Constitutional diseases, and Local diseases are represented almost
precisely by the numbers registered in February last year. Compared
with the mortality of January, that from the Miasmatic disorders has
fallen from 85 to 58. Small-pox has occasioned only 3 deaths against
9 in December and 9 in January. The following were the fatal
cases—

Son of a Builder's Labourer
Daughter of ditto
An Artificial Flower Maker
aged 3 months
„ 3 years
aged 29 years
L'nvaccinated.
Imperfectly Vaccinated in
Lonibardy.
(Died in Small-pox Hospital.)
