[Report of the Medical Officer of Health for Islington, Parish of St Mary]

Diseases of the respiratory organs have produced about the average number
of deaths. Consumption has again carried off a smaller number of victims than
in any October during the last six years. There have been nine deaths of aged
persons counting 80 years and upwards.
In addition to the work specified in Table III., 42 Cow-sheds and 64
Slaughter-houses in the eastern division of the parish, and 37 Cow-sheds and
52 Slaughter-houses in the western division, have been visited daring the month,
and their condition fully reported on.
