Looking at the table of sickness, we find only two cases of small-pox recorded.
Diarrhoea has prevailed more than in August, 168 cases being counted up.
Many of them have probably been the result of the use of unwholesome food,
especially of the fruits which have ripened very badly this year and have been
on sale in the streets in a half-ripened or decaying state.

The following table continues that of last month.

Sept.Mean Temperature. (Greenwich.)Parish cases of Diarrhoea, &c.Deaths from Diarrhoea and Cholera.
