observed, and only six cases of fever are recorded. The type of fever remains
the same. In December last year, 56 cases of measles, 4 of scarlatina, 5 of
hooping-cough, 28 of diarrhoea, and 9 of fever were entered. The sum of
these cases is 102, while this year the sum of the cases of these diseases is 66.
It will be observed that the cases of diseases of the organs of respiration,
including 19 cases designated " Influenza," have been reduced from 363
in four weeks, to 255 in five weeks.
