Shelter House.— The Shelter House was nut occupied during the year;
but baths were given to 23 verminous persons under the " Cleansing of Persons
Act," whilst their clothing was disinfected. 10 other persons who had been in
contact with cases of infectious diseases also had their clothing disinfected.
Three midwives attended for the purpose of disinfection after attendance on
cases of Puerperal Fever.
Verminous School Children.— During the year 4,841 baths were given
to children from the London County Council Schools, who attended the Disinfect-
