PUBLIC HEALTH (TUBERCULOSIS) REGULATIONS, 1924.
These Regulations came into operation on the 1st January, 1925, and necessitated
a complete revision of the register of notified cases of tuberculosis then in
use. The requirement of a quarterly statement to the County Medical Officer of
the actual number of cases of tuberculosis on the register necessitates systematic
and constant examination of the records, resulting in the removal from the
register of the names of all patients suffering from tuberculosis who have died,
left the district, etc. The revision of the register revealed the fact that a fair
number of patients had removed out of the Borough, and the following statistical
statement shows the known cases of tuberculosis in the Borough at the close of
the year.
