Poliomyelitis, Acute Primary Pneumonia, Acute Influenzal Pneumonia, Cerebrospinal
fever or Epidemic Cerebro-spinal Meningitis, Dysentery, Glanders or
Farcy, Hydrophobia or Rabies, Malaria, Ophthalmia Neonatorum, Plague, Trench
Fever, and Tuberculosis.

Acute Poliomyelitis. Only one case was notified during the year, as compared with 7 in 1924, and 1 case in 1923.

Epidemic Cerebro-Spinal Meningitis.
Six cases were notified, and they equalled the notifications of the previous
year. During the ten years 1915-24, the cases averaged 18 per annum.

A return of attacks of the disease during the past ten years is given in the following statement :

The deaths during the year numbered 3, and were equal to the very high rate
of .50 per cent, of the cases notified.
