These figures seem to indicate that large quantities of milk were reduced
so as to come near the minimum standards, and that in attempting to do so the
mixers passed just below them in many instances. It is impossible to set out
the separate figures here, but they rather denote, especially in the case of fats,
that many of the milks showed fats that were only on the border line, indicating
