REPORT
OF THE
MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH
FOR THE YEAR 1914.
To The Worshipful The Mayor, Aldermen and Councillors
of the Metropolitan Borough of Islington.
Dear Mr. Mayor, Aldermen and Councillors,
Herewith, I have pleasure in submitting the Fifty-ninth annual report of
the Medical Officer of Health, on the health and sanitary condition of
Islington during 1914. Both were good, and, indeed, the records will
compare satisfactorily with those of recent years.
In submitting my report I desire specially to thank the Chairman
(Councillor Thomas Luke Harwood) and the members of the Public Health
Committee for the generous support they have invariably given me in
carrying out my work; and at the same time I would call attention to the
very willing assistance which the staff of the Public Health Department have
at all times afforded me.
I am,
Your faithful servant,
Medical Officer of Health.
August, 1915.
