Under this heading are included Cancer and Tuberculosis, as well as
Rheumatic Fever, Rheumatism, Rickets, Diabetes, Gout, Anaemia, Gangrene
and Purpura. Two of these, Cancer and Tuberculosis, are among the most
important and fatal which afflict mankind.
